Cruiser Boat Covers

If you’ve invested in a cruiser you want to make sure that investment is protected, and choosing a Select Fit™ cover from Westland™ is the best bet. Boat covers designed for cruisers need to take a number of specific details into account to achieve a snug fit and ensure the best protection of your boat investment! Naturally, the very best fit can only be accomplished with a custom cover that’s based on the specifications of your exact model boat – which is exactly what you get with our Exact Fit® covers. But there are thousands of different models of cruisers cruiser models out there, and they won’t all be in our Exact Fit® database (even though it’s as comprehensive as it gets, thanks to the relationship with our sister company Great Lakes Boat Top, which has patterns for over 150 boat manufacturers).

Cuddy Boats

If you have a cuddy style boat, we have the ideal cover to protect it. Finding the best cover for a cuddy boat is no small task. You need to consider construction quality, ventilation, cost, and of course fit. We suggest you read “Which is the Best Boat Cover?”, to find out the ins and outs of all sorts of boat covers, but when it comes to fit, the details aren’t always so cut and dry. A custom cover from our Exact Fit® line can’t be beat, but questions start to arise when the particular model you own hasn’t been patterned. There are countless make and model cuddy boats out there, so no one database has the exact specs for them all – and if we haven’t patterned your boat, the chances are no one else has. So, how will you get a cover that fits?

Fishing Boats

Your pride and joy deserves the best fishing boat cover possible, right? Of course it does. But there are an awful lot of different fishing boats on the market, and an awful lot a one-size-fits-all covers that don’t really fit any one type of boat particularly well. That’s why we’ll start out by recommending you punch the make, model, and year of your boat into our “Cover Wizard”. This will allow you to find out if we have a custom pattern for your specific model boat. And if it’s not in there, don’t worry – our Select Fit covers are the next best thing to having a custom pattern! That’s because we don’t merely look at fishing boats as a whole, but instead break down fishing boats into 11 distinct categories, each with individual covers designed to fit the bill.

Inflatable Boats

Inflatable and dinghy boats may be small, but that doesn’t mean they’re inexpensive. Nor are they any less susceptible to the ravages of UV light, rain, snow, and general weathering, than other types of boats. In fact, it’s even more imperative to protect inflatable boats, particularly from the sun, because the materials they’re made with aren’t quite as hardy as solid fiberglass.

Jet Boats

Jet boats come in two very different styles: aluminum outboard-powered jets with V-shaped bows and steering stations behind a windshield (commonly used in rivers), and fiberglass runabouts (designed for enjoying watersports). In order to best fit each, we’ve created Select Fit covers that are fitted in very different ways.

Pontoon Boats

Creating the best boat cover for a pontoon boat or deck boat isn’t as simple as one might think. These boat styles come in many different shapes and sizes, some have consoles with windshields and others don’t, many have extended swim platforms, and they may be powered by either outboards or stern drives. All of these details come into play, when designing a boat cover.

Wakeboard and Ski Boats

Anyone who loves watersports knows that wakeboard and water ski boats can be quite expensive, and anyone who loves boats knows that the best way to protect them from weathering is with a high-quality cover that fits properly. But there are many different makes, models, and varieties of wakeboard and water ski boats out there. If the one you own is in our Cover Wizard’s digitized database, you can get a custom cover for it that’s patterned for the specific model. If not, don’t merely settle for a one-size-fits-all type of cover, as these usually don’t fit any specific boat particularly well. Especially when it comes to watersports boats equipped with towers and/or sport arches, choosing blindly can lead to disaster. Instead, ensure a premium fit by searching our Select Fit covers, which are broken down by the following boat styles.

Exact Fit® Covers Built for Cobalt Boats

Your Cobalt wasn't built on a generic assembly line. Neither is your cover. Westland's Exact Fit® covers are hand-sewn to match the exact dimensions of your year, make, and model. We've spent nearly 40 years mapping hull contours, windshield angles, and deck profiles so your cover fits like a second skin. That precision matters when you're protecting gelcoat, upholstery, and electronics from UV, rain, and airborne debris.

The same team trusted by today's top boat manufacturers builds every Cobalt cover, using the same hand-sewing team behind Westland's manufacturing and pro-shop work, with marine-grade fabrics and double-stitched seams designed to withstand trailering at highway speeds.

Sewn-In Ventilation Stops Mildew and Moisture

Trapped moisture is the single biggest threat to your Cobalt's interior. Generic covers trap humid air against seats and carpet, creating conditions where mold and mildew can take hold. Westland's Sewn-In Ventilation system uses strategically placed vents that let moisture escape while keeping rain and dust out.

This isn't an afterthought. Ventilation is built into the cover during construction, not added later with stick-on patches. Air flows naturally under the cover, helping reduce condensation and keep your boat dry between trips.

Select-Fit® Covers for Fast Protection

Westland's Select-Fit® covers are a great option when an Exact Fit® cover isn't available or when you're looking for a more budget-friendly choice. Both Select-Fit® and Exact Fit® covers are produced and shipped within 5–7 business days. Unlike many competitors that size semi-custom covers in two-foot increments, Westland patterns Select-Fit® covers in one-foot increments for a better overall fit. They also feature the same Sewn-In Ventilation and hand-sewn construction found in Exact Fit® covers.

Select-Fit® works best for standard hull designs without tall towers or complex windshield configurations. Check the sizing chart on each product page to confirm your Cobalt's length and beam fall within the specified range.

Why Cobalt Owners Choose Westland Covers

Cobalt builds boats that balance performance with luxury. You're protecting a significant investment, and a sagging, ill-fitting cover does more harm than good. Westland covers are cut and sewn by marine canvas professionals who understand how a cover should tension across a hull, how straps should anchor without marring gelcoat, and how ventilation prevents the kind of moisture damage that destroys resale value.

We've been doing this since 1986. We supply covers to boat manufacturers who put their own brand on our work. When you buy direct from Westland, you're getting the same quality those OEMs trust, without the markup.

Hand-Sewn Construction That Lasts Years

Every seam in a Westland cover is hand-sewn. We don't use automated machines that rush through stitching and leave weak points. Our sewers inspect each seam as they work, reinforcing stress points at bow eyes, strap anchors, and corners where cheaper covers tear first.

Marine-grade thread and UV-resistant fabrics are standard across the line. We use Solution-Dyed Polyester and Sunbrella for Select-Fit® and Exact Fit® covers. Both materials resist fading and withstand years of sun exposure without becoming brittle or losing water resistance.

Precision Fit, Built Around Your Cobalt

When you enter your year, make, and model into our search tool, you're pulling from a database we've refined over thousands of boats. We track how Cobalt's hull designs have evolved across model years and adjust our patterns accordingly, so your cover fits your boat's actual dimensions, not a generic size range.

Find Your Cobalt Cover and Protect Your Investment

Use the Year/Make/Model search tool to find your Exact Fit® cover, or browse Select-Fit® options by boat length. Exact Fit® covers include a reinforced tie-down kit, while Select-Fit® covers do not. Our marine canvas experts are also available by phone to answer questions about sizing, fabric options, or accessories such as support poles and trailering straps.

Cobalt owners trust Westland because we've spent nearly 40 years focused on one thing: covers that fit, breathe, and last. Shop Exact Fit® and Select-Fit® Cobalt covers now.
